Save the Date – SCAPA Bash!

What is the SCAPA Back to School Bash?

Our community-based fundraiser, the “Back to School Bash,” invites all those associated with the school, as well the community at large, to come out in a carnival-style fashion to play, eat, celebrate, win cool raffle prizes, and bid on great silent auction items!  This is our biggest FUNdraiser of the year and we look forward to seeing you there!

A message from the SCAPA Bash Committee…

Save the date!  Our annual SCAPA Bash is Sunday, September 9th from 2 to 5 pm and we are so excited to celebrate a new year!  The first chance to snag your wristbands will be at Cruise-In to SCAPA Bluegrass on August 9th.  (Get the SCAPA Bash Wristband Order Form here.)

We are busily collecting donations for the silent auction which is a great fundraiser at the Bash. Can you help us? We are looking for big ticket items such as UK Football/Basketball tickets, Keeneland boxes, or concert tickets. We are also happy to think outside the box.  Do you know a celebrity who would like to share advice with a young artist? Do you own a local business that can donate a service? Picnic With the Arts is Back!

We are so excited that Picnic with the Arts is back this year!  Patterned after the ever-popular Lexington Philharmonic’s Picnic with the Pops, join us as we celebrate all things “Young at He(ART).”  Decorate your table, bring your own picnic and join us for an evening of entertainment provided by our SCAPA Bluegrass students.  Prizes awarded for best table decor!  Silent and live auction items will also be available throughout the evening, so we look forward to having you join us for an evening of fun and fundraising!  Doors will open at 5:00 pm for table decorating.


Ticket information:
$50 per table (seats 6-8)
$10 per individual seat



Tickets or Tables

Tickets may also be ordered by sending a check in the appropriate amount in a labeled envelope (PWTA, student’s name, grade, how many tickets desired) to your student’s homeroom teacher.

All pre-purchase ticket orders need to be received by Friday, April 13th. Pre-order tickets will be held at the ticket table at the gym door.  Tickets will also be sold at the door if space is available.
